- 19% of sports fans that watch sports on TV say they have resorted to illegally streaming sports in the last 12 months to save money because of the cost of living crisis
- Only 14% of female sports fans admit to illegal streaming, compared to 22% of men
- A quarter of 25-34 year-olds say they started illegal sports streaming, rising to 26% of 34-44 year-olds – the highest age group
- 31% of people in the northwest say they have started illegal streaming, the highest area of the UK, east of England, is lowest at 12%
